Meg & the Japanese Dormouse

A fully illustrated picture book following the adventures of Meg and her unusual woodland companions in a mysterious forest.

For this project, I developed the complete visual language of the story, creating expressive characters, atmospheric environments, and richly textured illustrations that support the narrative while building an immersive world. Each spread was carefully designed to balance storytelling, emotion, and visual continuity throughout the book.

The illustrations combine whimsical character design with darker woodland settings, creating a distinctive style that appeals to young readers while maintaining a strong artistic identity.
